409 well-known enterprises in Hubei are subject to special protection
Starting today, 409 well-known companies, including Dongfeng Company, will benefit from a special protection policy introduced by the industrial and commercial authorities. This initiative aims to strengthen the rights protection of leading enterprises in the market.
On the previous day, the Hubei Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce issued an official notice, instructing all local industrial and commercial departments to conduct "large-scale visits" to prominent enterprises. The goal is to actively engage with businesses that hold either a "Well-Known Trademark in China" or a "Famous Trademark in Hubei Province." Instead of waiting for companies to report issues, industrial and commercial staff will now take the initiative to reach out and provide support.
This proactive approach combines the enforcement power of the industrial and commercial departments with the legal expertise of the enterprises themselves. By doing so, it becomes much harder for counterfeiters and those who try to exploit the system—often referred to as "Li Gui," or those who like to "squeeze money"—to operate without consequences.
