China Steel Wuhan self-priming filter respirator fills the domestic gap
Recently, an appraisal meeting was held in Wuhan to evaluate the self-priming filter type anti-particle respirator quality supervision and inspection system developed by Sinosteel Wuhan Safety and Environmental Protection Research Institute. The event brought together a panel of experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the PLA General Institute of Chemical Defense, and the China Academy of Environmental Sciences.
The expert committee reviewed the project's outcomes and concluded that the system is based on a comprehensive digestion and absorption of advanced foreign testing techniques. Through this process, the filtration efficiency and leakage detection devices, along with their testing methods, have been innovatively improved. All technical parameters and indicators fully meet the requirements of GB2626-2006, "Respiratory Protective Equipment – Self-priming Filter Type Anti-particle Respirator." This achievement fills a critical gap in the domestic market for quality inspection systems of self-priming filter anti-particle respirators.
Overall, the results are considered to be at an advanced level within the country. Moreover, the system demonstrates international-level performance in terms of filtration efficiency and leak detection technology.
