DuPont receives orders for 2 Condor ferry scrubber systems
      It is reported that DuPont Sustainable Solutions will supply a marine scrubber system for two Condor ferries to help the ferry meet all IMOAnnex VI sulfur emission regulations.
       Contract content: DuPont will provide four sets of single steam, open loop, gas cleaning devices for the "CommodoreClipper" and "CommodoreGoodwill" ferries. The two ferries are equipped with two main engines and the power is about 4.5MW. The scrubber system helps the ferry to continue to use heavy fuel oil and meets all IMOAnnex VI sulfur emission requirements. Each main unit is equipped with a set of exhaust gas cleaning devices.
      The above scrubber system is expected to be installed in the fall of 2015 and will begin testing in early 2016.
