Bestobell Marine receives 2 valve orders
Recently, Bestobell Marine received two orders to supply a new series of high pressure shut-off valves and check valves for marine fuel gas systems.
These valves will be used in six LNG carriers being built by South Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries, which will be equipped with MAN ME-GI engines.
Duncan Gaskin, president of Bestobell Marine Sales, said, "Since the launch of the MAN ME-GI engine two years ago, more than 100 units have been sold, and the demand for high-pressure cryogenic valves in fuel gas systems is growing rapidly."
It is understood that Bestobell is currently the only manufacturer of marine cryogenic globe valves and has obtained the necessary approval and certification.
