House fire in Buffalo Grove, 2-20-24
On Tuesday afternoon, firefighters from Buffalo Grove responded to a residential structure on Middleton Court. Upon arrival, they observed smoke exiting the front door and roof vents, prompting the alarm to be upgraded to a working fire. Additional units from Long Grove, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, and Arlington Heights were dispatched, along with more crews stationed at local fire stations to support the incident.
The fire appeared to be a room-and-contents fire that had begun spreading into the hallway when firefighters initiated their interior attack. Emergency personnel worked quickly to contain the blaze and ensure the safety of the occupants. No injuries have been reported at this time.
