The “Financial Times†learned from several automobile manufacturers engaged in export trade that at present domestic auto companies mainly understand relevant information of the importing country through two channels: foreign agents and networks. However, due to some objective reasons, the content of these information is not rich enough and the reliability is not high.

Most companies stated that understanding the foreign import system and access conditions is a very complicated matter. A manager who is responsible for overseas projects to the Financial Times reporter: "Understanding the relevant information is an important part of the preparatory work for automobile exports, but sometimes it really makes people clueless."
Zhu Jie, deputy general manager of marketing of Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd., believes that the information provided by the government can only be used as a supplement, and more work still depends on the company itself.
According to reports, after several years of development, Great Wall Motor has accumulated a certain amount of export experience and established a more systematic overseas database.

Zhang Jian told the "Financial Times" reporter that the hardest thing was to collect the work being done by the governments and intermediary organizations of the importing countries.
