From January to June this year, SAIC Motor's total vehicle sales exceeded 990,000 units, a record high, and continued to maintain its domestic market share.
Among them, SAIC Passenger Vehicles sold more than 600,000 vehicles, and SAIC Commercial Vehicles sold more than 390,000 vehicles. SAIC Motor will complete its sales of more than 1.9 million vehicles throughout the year.
In addition, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (Shangqi Group) ranked 373th in terms of 2007 consolidated sales revenue of US$22.6 billion in the 2008 World Fortune 500 ranking published by Fortune magazine. It was ranked among the top 500 in the world and ranked 29 places higher than the previous year.
