New engine for Homer Township

On September 11, 2012, Homer Township Fire Department Chief Bob Tutko and the members of the Black Shift held a special ceremony to officially put Engine 32 into service. At 2:40 p.m., Wescom Dispatch activated the speakers, marking the formal start of the new engine’s service. The rig was purchased by the department from Fire Service Inc., with Pete Lomardi handling the sale.
