Antioch Fire is added to the site

The Antioch Fire Department and First Fire District is a volunteer fire department located on the northern edge of Illinois, within Lake County's Quad 2. The department operates from three stations, each equipped with a variety of apparatus, including engines, tankers, and brush units. They are set to receive a new engine in January, which will mark a significant update to their fleet. Once entirely composed of Pirsch units, they still maintain two of these historic models on their roster, one of which is scheduled for auction once the new engine arrives. Each station is equipped with a brush rig, an engine, or a tanker with a minimum capacity of 2,000 gallons of water. Today’s fleet includes a US Tanker, an Alexis unit, a Pierce engine, and a 3D apparatus. Station 1 houses the Quad 2 rehab unit, the Quad 2 air boat, and a newly introduced resource called the Fast Attack Response Truck, designed for rapid response and emergency support. ![Antioch Fire Department Pirsch pumper/tanker](#) ![Antioch Fire Department Pirsch pumper](#) ![Antioch Fire Department Station 3](#) *Antioch Station 3 is located at 2475 West Grass Lake Road. Their commitment to public safety remains strong, and as they welcome new equipment, they also honor the legacy of their past. Whether responding to wildfires, structure fires, or medical emergencies, the Antioch Fire Department and First Fire District stands ready to serve the community with professionalism and dedication.
