New truck for Merrionette Park

This message is from Dennis McGuire, Jr.

Here are a few photos of the two rigs that the Marionette Park Fire Department currently operates. The first one is a utility van, and the second is a brand new Pierce engine that will eventually replace both the old Mack CF (X-FDNY) and the Pennsville, New Jersey unit. As of now, the Pierce hasn't been put into service yet because formal training is still in progress.

The new Pierce is definitely an upgrade, with modern features and improved performance. It’s always exciting to see new equipment come in, but it's also important to make sure everyone is properly trained before it hits the streets. I'll keep you posted once the training is complete and the truck is officially on duty. Thanks again, Dennis, for sharing these great shots!
