Of interest … north of the border in Wausau
We’ve done something pretty special here in Wausau, Wisconsin! The Wausau Fire Department has created our very own episode of *The Office*, titled “The Fire Department.†A bunch of us are huge fans of the original show, and with some creativity and a lot of hard work, we managed to put together a parody that’s in the same spirit as the classic series!
Last year, the Wausau Fire Department was awarded the SAFER Grant and successfully petitioned the city council to add 12 new positions to our team. This is a huge milestone for us, and we’re incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made. To celebrate this achievement, we’re dedicating this video to the new firefighters we’ve already hired and those who will join us in the future. In the video, you’ll follow a new probationary firefighter as he starts his journey in the department, learning the ropes and finding his place among the crew. We had so much fun making this, and we hope you enjoy it just as much as we did!
