The next year will be the first to be put into operation on some bus lines in the cities of Chengdu and Mianyang. According to the Sichuan Provincial Economic Commission's demonstration and operation route announced at the same time, Chengdu’s 16th bus and 20th bus will be equipped with 10 pure electric buses, respectively. The 10th and 35th buses in Mianyang City will be equipped with 5 vehicles respectively. Demonstration of the operation of the electric bus passenger 11 meters long, quasi-load 75 people, the actual maximum capacity of up to 120 people. The maximum speed is up to 110 kilometers, and the cruising range is close to 300 kilometers. Compared with ordinary passenger cars, the most prominent feature of electric buses is low energy consumption. The electric bus can be used for a day's operation with only three hours of charge at night. At present, the cost of a single-layer electric vehicle is about 1.5 million yuan, while an ordinary diesel bus is about 500,000 yuan, which is much more expensive. The relevant person in charge of the Chengdu Public Transport Group stated that at the moment when the electric buses and buses are on-line and how many fares are implemented are still under discussion.
