Stainless Steel Pneumatic Control Piston Angle Seat Valve
1. Clean the pipes thoroughly from any residue, dirt, or welding debris to avoid damaging the seal.
2. Install the valve as required, preferably with the actuator in an upright position.
3. Connect the pipes according to the reference points (flow direction) marked on the valve body. Only disassemble the actuator if necessary.
4. Before disassembling the valve, ensure the media supply and pilot air piping system are depressurized.
Flow Direction Below the Seat (Direction A):
- Valves with flow direction below the seat (Direction A) ensure a long service life.
- These valves are waterhammer-free when used with liquid media.
- Valves with orifice sizes DN15/DN20/DN25 are ideal for operating pressure of 0.3 MPa.
- Valves with orifice DN32/DN40 should be operated with double-acting actuators DN100.
- Valves with orifice DN50 should be operated with double-acting actuators DN125.
Flow Direction Above the Seat (Direction B):
- Valves with Direction B offer high sealing integrity and are suitable for steam and gas media.
- There is a risk of waterhammer when these valves are used with liquid media.
